Spartanburg & Pelham OB-GYN

Board eligible and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Joel Snipe is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston. She trained at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington in North Carolina. She began her practice in Wilmington, but is excited about returning with her husband and daughter to her home state of South Carolina to begin practicing with Spartanburg & Pelham OB-GYN.

Her clinical areas of interest are weight management, in office minimally invasive surgery, all aspects of gynecological care, and high and low risk obstetrical patients.

Board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is one of six surgeons in South Carolina certified for advanced operative laparoscopy. Dr. Giep is the founder of Spartanburg & Pelham ObGyn and has been practicing in Spartanburg since 1976. His interests include minimally invasive surgery and office gynecology. He trained at Women's Medical College of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kathryn G. Massengill, PA received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.  She graduated summa cum laude from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She resides in Spartanburg with her husband, Caleb.  She is happy to return home to the Upstate to practice obstetrics and gynecology.
